The most promising and recent human study on effects of HCA on weight gain and appetite controlwas led by Dr. Harry Preuss, researcher and pathologist at Georgetown University. Sixty overweight individuals aged 21-50 were observed for an 8 week period. One group was given a patented HCA supplement while the other group was given a placebo. All of the subjects consumed a diet of 2,000 calories per day and walked for half an hour, five days a week.
